Education & Training for ION Providers

Virtual Courses

Overview

Join our in-depth 2-day live virtual courses conducted via Zoom, designed to provide comprehensive training on featured ION procedures and processes. These courses are ideal for those seeking to master

neurophysiologic mapping and monitoring  independently, within their specific roles in the ION team.

The first day's sessions will thoroughly cover all building blocks for the course ION  topic: key concepts,  planning, designing, setting  up, executing the procedure, and reliably interpreting its results. The knowledge gained on Day 1 will serve as a foundation for the clinical applications and processes explored on Day 2.

The second day's sessions will adopt a more practical approach, i.e. applying the material learned on

Day 1, to ensure the efficient delivery of reliable data and its integration within a multidisciplinary environment. Ample time will be allocated for questions and discussions related to specific case scenarios, building on the concepts introduced earlier.

  • Neuroanatomy essentials

  • ION techniques and methodology

  • Theoretical interpretative knowledge of ION data

  • Surgical topics relevant to the ION procedure

  • Anesthesia topics relevant to the ON procedure

  • Multidisciplinary communication within ION and with the surgical and anesthesia teams

  • Integration of ION data for multidisciplinary decision-making in the operating room

  • ION reporting and documentation standards

Format

  • Engaging PowerPoint presentations on targeted topics

  • Case studies demonstrating clinical scenarios with ION data integrated within the multidisciplinary

        environment

  • Live Q&A sessions to address participant questions

Upcoming courses and their agendas, including specific details on topics & schedules, can be viewed below.

All materials will be recorded and available for viewing up for one month after the course.

Registration & Capacity

  • Upon registration and payment, participants will receive the Zoom registration link included in the course registration confirmation email (at registration), in the 1st reminder email (3 days prior to the event) and in the 2nd reminder email (day of, one hour before the scheduled start time). Please register for the Zoom meeting with your name and email address used at the time of course registration.  This can be done in advance of the course or just as you prepare to join the meeting.  Your registration will trigger  a confirmation email from Zoom with the Zoom link to the event. Please note that admission to the course is granted per individual ticket (registration). Each ticket allows access for one person, registered under a unique name and email address.

  • In order to ensure best experience during interactive sessions, the courses have a predetermined capacity. Once this limit is reached, registration will be closed. If you are interested in future offerings on the same topic, you may sign up for the waiting list. Please RSVP specifying the course and timezone you are interested in. A new course will be organized once a sufficient number of registrants are on the waiting list.
